Feeling good

This was passed around an ‘international’ company in the Netherlands. An ‘international’ company means that English is used in all communications. Or Dunglish.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see what’s wrong with it.. Maybe you can explain your examples of Dunglish??

  2. bram says:

sportweek, march with lc letter, mon-tues-etc. with lc letter, groupclasses, healthty to name a few
All in all it looks like English, but it doesn’t sound English; it sounds like a 1 2 1 translation.
    Am I right?

Dunglish problems with this text: “Be sportive” is the most obvious, “feel healthty” is another (*healthty* in this case), “answers *on* questions”, and I could go on.

Comma splice too (‘Enjoy a total work-out, it’s …’, etc.). Still not sure if this is really permitted in Dutch or just very prevalent.
