Celebration
This sign was not found in Amsterdam and was not aimed at tourists. People say that “Koninginnedag” (Queen’s Day), the Dutch national holiday, is too commercial, so here’s proof. I scored some LPs and books for next to nothing.

I am not sure if I agree Queen’s Day is too commercial. I don’t think it ever was just the flee market.

Well, I was in Kleve (Germany) on Queen’s Day, and it was really full of Dutch people, whom having fled the ‘flee’ market were eating Chinese food which was so cheap it was almost flee.
Reminds me of a sign above a small hook, outside a Chinese ‘ta-ke-a-wa-y’ in Waalwijk which read : “Please hang your dog up here.”
